Louis Conrad Rosenberg (1890-1983) was born in Portland, Or. He studied architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating in 1914, and became instructor and later professor of architectural design at the University of Oregon in Eugene. He served in the U.S. Army from 1917-1919, and upon his return to the U.S. married Marie Louise Allen of Portland.
